FORTITUDE OF TEMPEST (fortis tempus)

It is common and normal for any to exhibit fear when things seem odd and out of track, when it becomes dark we panic; we cry when all hope is lost, sometimes we look for where or who to shift blame just to ease our mind yet in our common and ordinary habit there is always no solution.
Looking beyond ordinary we find the extraordinary and natural endowment where lies COURAGE…A rare gift which keeps us going with sparkles of hope; a sustaining energy which reflects to us a little fragment of light in dark hours. Courage gives us balance to think and see possible route in violent storm.

In every aspect of life especially during dark hours, fortis tempus (FORTITUDE OF TEMPEST) is the first and most essential requirement. We all know how plant whither its leaf that not even one is found, yet the stem still displays fortis tempus not blaming the root nor the earth for lack of water hoping it will rain.
As Pilot of Destiny, we must be fortified and ready against tempest hour because fear is the number one anti-flight weapon which hinders our chances of victory. So many who were to do great things if only they had challenged that freckle of fear and press further opted out letting that beautiful world slip away.
You’ve got bigger in you than you think as no one is born barren; gifts are enveloped in us such that when you open one, you find the bigger next inside and as you continue you just can’t imagine what you’ve got but this can only be if we show Fortitude of Tempest.

A recall of a unique experience I had back in school during a defense. On that faithful day students were embarrassed and demised from the hall due to poor performance. As an observer I was able to pin-point the cause of their lapses which was Lack of Courage to express themselves. Then I tried and told myself of the need to pocket fear; when it became time for me, the first thing I did was to work on my walking pattern to stage which won me the attention of the audience. When I started, I would look straight into the eyes of the supervisor because I needed them to feel intimidated if only to achieve my aim.
When one of the supervisors was to ask me question, he fidgeted which gave me further bravery to sweep the audience.

We do not know the power we have in courage to resurrect that dying hope and bring alive that lost dream.
One vital prerequisite for any battle is: If you must fight and certain that the very fight is unavoidable, you must be quick to give the first blow; you must attack first. Not because you love trouble, neither because you possess plenty of muscles but because you need to create some sort of intimidation around your opponent which ignites your courage to give you proper balance.
Courage does not mean lack/absence of Fear; No! Fear will come... but it means FIGHTING FEAR (Peace Eze)
One unique lesson to learn from the eagles’ method of self training is that they wait for storm just to master its pros and cons which makes them what they are. Just like exercising one’s self, the storm only builds strength on the eagles’ wing and unlike every other birds, the eagle do not perch, they land.

Tempest times are often NATURES will to propel us, sustain us and mortify us for the next phase of life; To succeed and overcome we must show courage, we must win our balance by applying this mental energy called fortis tempus.
Do not be discouraged, that storm; that trouble; that pain is nothing but a fiction if only you can show fortitude of tempest.
Cheers!
